Barn Weddings on a Kentucky Family Farm

Your ceremony, reception and getting-ready rooms in one place, on a farm the Belknap family has worked since 1916.

Wedding Planning Simplified

The farm is your canvas

Wedding planning can be exhausting, so we keep our part simple. You get the barn, the deck, both getting-ready rooms and the whole farm for the day, and you choose the caterer, the florist and everything else. It's your wedding, set up the way you want it.

  • 8am to 11pm The full day is yours
  • Up to 200 Guests in the barn
  • One at a time We never host two events at once
  • April to November Seven days a week
Your Wedding Day

Morning

Set up and decorate

Your rental starts at 8am, so you and your vendors can start decorating that morning. Clair, our venue planner, runs the early part of the day and is there to help you get settled. The ivory drapery and market lights are already up, and the barn door welcome table and table decor are yours to use if you want them.

Getting ready

A room for each side of the wedding party

The bridal suite is climate controlled, with a makeup bar and mirror that run the length of the room and a rolling rack to keep dresses wrinkle free. It connects to the women's restroom. The groom's room has its own mirror, bar, fridge and seating, and it's climate controlled too.

Ceremony

Say your vows anywhere on the farm

Pick any spot you love. We have two suggested locations with great views, and you can choose from three ceremony arbors. If the weather turns, your ceremony moves into the main hall, which seats everyone, and we keep a generator on site in case of bad weather.

Cocktail hour

Plenty of room to spread out

Guests move out to the 1,500 square foot Amish-built deck, which overlooks 75 acres and Harrods Creek Hill, with bourbon barrel cocktail tables and room for up to two bar stations. The covered leisure area keeps everyone comfortable if it rains. This is also a great time to meet the goats, pot-bellied pigs and mini donkeys, and one of us will guide the visit.

Dinner

Your caterer, your menu

Tables and chairs for all 200 guests are included: oak slab tables that don't need linens, plus round tables with black resin chairs. Your caterer works from a full prep room with an industrial fridge, warmers, an ice machine and stainless work tables.

Reception

Dance the night away

Ian takes over in the afternoon and runs the evening of your event. The dance floor sits under the market lights, and the restrooms are built for 400, so nobody waits in line. Amplified music ends at 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays and 8pm on other nights, your rental runs until 11pm, and clean-up happens that evening.
